Vacines and swimming pool

So... for those who can’t read my long texts in portuguese, and because I don’t have time everytime I post to always translate to english, here it goes a summary of the two last posts.

Thomas went to the vacines last Friday. What a howfull day! He took 2, one in each leg. It’s hard to take him there because he really doesn’t like it. It’s not that the vacines hurt him, because he crys before the needle is in the leg… but it’s not a pleasant moment. And for me it’s howfull also because my cute little guy looks at me with an expression that says “Mama, mama… why did you brought me here! Don’t let them hurt me!” And in beetween tears it hurt my heart!

Next time we will ask Papa Yuri to go. Papa is more brave and he handle better those situation!

In the weekend Thomas was a bit with a cold.. but now he is quite fine again.

Saturday morning my sweet baby went with me to his first swimming class in the club. It was such a great moment! I am still so proud with him! He really enjoyed to be in the water… kind of swimming… and…..he dived for the very first time! I was so funny to see him under water, with his eyes open and “boobling” with his nose! He didn’t cried at all and had lots of fun playing in the water. The monitor said that “We have a swimmer”!

I still am amazed with the way babys deal with water! I know thay spend 9 months inside a bag full of water… but once they are out its amazing how LIFE make it so easy for them. I hope he keeps on enjoy it and having fun. Next Saturday we will come back.

In the weekend I also realized that Thomas baby is eating like hell! He drinks milk when he wakes up and before go to sleep at night. Than at lunch and dinner he has soup (with different kind of vegetables and meat) and as desert he has fruit ( he really loves fruit, all kind!) And in between this two meals he has an iogurt again with fruit! He eats very well and it’s cute to see when he likes more or less a certain kind of food and how much he wants to have all that we are having.

And now with 6 months old it starts to be more and more difficult to please the cute little guy, only by letting him lay down. Thomas really like party time! People around him, playing with him, giving attention, holding him on his feet… he is a partybaby and I love him!!
